This fellowship program is founded by the Japanese Pediatric Orthopaedic Association (JPOA) to support young candidates who have interests in the Pediatric Orthopaedics from any Asian countries. During one-week stay in Japan, the candidates will visit a JPOA affiliation institution and attend the JPOA annual meeting. They will be required to make a presentation at the meeting and to submit a full paper to the Journal of JPOA. JPOA and founders hope that this fellowship will provide an opportunity for the candidates to broaden their experience, and prepare them for educational and leadership roles in the pediatric orthopaedic field

The JPOA International Committee has approved the policy stating “We has set an upper limit to the price of an economy class air ticket, depending on the flight distance.”

STAY IN JAPAN

Successful applicants should attend the 30th Annual Meeting of JPOA that will be held at Osaka, during November 21-23, 2019, and make a presentation (poster or oral) on their study in the meeting. SELECTION

The selection will be made based on the applicant’s CV and quality of the submitted abstract on their study. By the end of May 2019, the only successful applicants will be noticed about the selection result.

The JPOA International Committee considers the application as the agreement of participation to this fellowship.
